Times have changed quickly when it comes to cameras and photography. My (David) first camera was a little Kodak point and shoot that used a film cartridge. Over the years I progressed through slightly better cameras, with varying passion and commitment to photography. I got out of it for many years as the cost for film and developing was more than I wanted to spend. Both of us had film SLR cameras at one point. Then came digital. A basic point and shoot digital was my introduction and it opened up the doors to photography again.
One of the best things we did was take a photography class together. The class was an “Introduction to DSLR.” The class was more than just a “take off the lens cap before shooting” type of class. We had a great instructor who had a passion for photography and was an active full-time photographer herself.
This blog is about our joy in shooting and sharing our photography. If you are looking for serious product reviews or hard-core technical advice, some amazing websites exist that will teach you more than we ever could. This is about us, what subjects we enjoy shooting, what equipment we use and the fun we have doing it. All photographs on this blog, unless otherwise attributed, are our own photography. Enjoy.
